Dekker Exhibits at EVM World and the ISPA/SCEA Joint Annual Conference

Dekker, Ltd. continued a busy 2010 exhibit schedule with appearances at EVM World in Naples, Florida, and the ISPA/SCEA Joint Annual Meeting in San Diego, California, this June. These events brought together over 1000 program, project, cost, and risk professionals from around the country, including a number of Dekker PMIS™™ (Program Management Information System) customers.

Simon Dekker, president and CEO of Dekker, Ltd., and the original author of the PMIS software suite, gave a presentation entitled Programs and the Future of Project Management at the ISPA/SCEA event. This well attended session outlined the clear distinctions between programs and projects, how practitioners have long used (incorrectly) the two terms interchangeably, and the ways in which modern organizations are moving toward a program-centric approach to business.

“These are two of the preeminent events in our industry, and having the opportunity to interact with many of our users and other like-minded professionals is invaluable,” said Mr. Dekker.

Conference attendees who stopped by Dekker’s exhibit booths were able to walk away with a much talked-about item – the Dekker EVM Gold Card mouse pad. Common Earned Value terms and formulas are now conveniently located – literally – at a user’s fingertips. The Dekker EVM Gold Card mouse pad will continue to be available at Dekker-attended events throughout 2010, and an electronic copy is available in PDF format below.
