Dekker PPM Forum™ 2009 Overview
The Dekker PPM Forum™ 2009 is Coming to You
Touring Engagements Begin this September
Thanks to overwhelming customer input, Dekker, Ltd. is now taking the Dekker PPM Forum™ 2009 on the road. This traveling format proved a tremendous success in 2008, and this year will create a unique opportunity for Dekker users and project professionals interested in emerging trends in Earned Value, Program, and Project Management.
The Dekker PPM Forum™ event in San Diego has been postponed to the week of May 24th, 2010, and will be preceded by more Dekker seminars to be held in several locations around the country.
In response to the current economic climate, organizations have slashed travel budgets, and that has made it difficult for employees to pursue training and professional development opportunities. Dekker, Ltd. has stepped into this gap by taking the travel barrier out of the equation. The Dekker PPM Forum™ 2009 will bring a half-day seminar on Strategic Vision – aligning programs and projects with an organization’s strategic goals – to four regional locations from September through November.
The Strategic Vision seminar will provide attendees with insight into the growing trend of organizations shifting their emphasis toward program management. The course will illuminate the important distinctions between project, program, and portfolio management, and detail program oversight and analysis metrics employed in top-level government agencies and Fortune 500 companies. Since Dekker, Ltd. is a PMI® Registered Education Provider, all attendees will earn 3 Professional Development Units (PDUs) for participating.
Dekker, Ltd. will announce tour locations and dates soon. Organizations with specific training needs for a group of users can arrange for on-site training courses that will complement the half-day Forum presentation.
